I specialise in Personal Training for the over 50’s. If that’s you then you should want a trainer your own age, who both understands your needs and gives you the right exercise without killing you in the process.
I have been a Personal Trainer for many years and as I have aged I have in turn appreciated that the needs of older people are different. What is the point of having a Personal Trainer in their 20’s who has no idea how the over 50’s feel?
It is, however, important to exercise as most people lead quite sedentary lives, but training should be fun. If you train wrongly then you will have injuries, bad posture and wear and tear on the joints. I can show you how to train without injuring yourself.
We have an initial consultation to find out the following information:
- What you enjoy doing
- How much exercise you have done
- What equipment you have to work with, if any
- How much time you have to give to this
You also have a simple fitness test to determine your Blood pressure, Resting Pulse Rate, Weight, Stamina, Abdominal Strength, Upper body strength, and Flexibility.
This information is then used to create a programme designed specifically for you.
Sessions can be bought individually or in blocks of 5 or 10.
